Frogpond - 1976
Originally titled 'Minor Nation' from an idea in Emily Dickenson's poetry. Frogpond produces several layers of insect-and-frog-like sounds, starting with one and building to a chorus. In response to a viewer's motion, it becomes silent and eight indifferently arranged points of yellow light sequence rapidly under the green glass.
